Projects

In-Situ Technieken has successfully and safely completed a large number of remediation projects during the last few years. These projects were located not only in the Netherlands but also in Belgium, Germany, France, the United Kingdom and even Japan. In-Situ Technieken is fully certified for carrying out in situ soil remediation projects.

Our main concerns in in situ soil remediation projects are always:

1. The safety of our own staff as well as the surroundings
2. The use of (multiple) remediation techniques to optimise remediation efficiency. Different techniques may be employed simultaneously or as a 'treatment train'.
3. Optimum adjustment of the remediation operation to the current use of the site, along with optimisation of the processes.

• Remediation of mineral oil using ISCO and soil vapor extraction at the former Defence pumping station in Schaarsbergen (pdf 412 Kb).
• Combination remediation with In-Situ Chemical Oxidation (ISCO) Air Sparging (AS), Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE), soil air extraction (SAE) and bioventing as solution for styrene contamination in Arnhem (pdf 236 Kb).
• Long-term combination remediation with chemical oxidation and stimulation of biological decomposition tackles soil under a housing area in Belgium (pdf 408 Kb).
