Research and development

In-Situ Technieken continuously invests in improvement and expansion of existing techniques and development of new remediation concepts. For this purpose we make use of a large library, our own laboratory and effective cooperation with Wageningen University and Research Centre (WUR), producers and suppliers of chemicals, and problem owners and/or clients.

Before new remediation techniques are applied in a full-scale remediation project, they are first tested in the laboratory and subsequently in a pilot (field) test. One of the new remediation concepts that has emerged from innovative research is ISTR®, In Situ Targeted Remediation.
